This was a lot of fun to create. My starting point was Ethiopian Amharic script. I began to refine the characters and before long, a coherent new visual style began to emerge.
After establishing an alpha-numeric system with the glyphs I had created, I then decided to create another layer of linguistic obfuscation, in effect by translating everything into Esperanto. Remember Esperanto?
Did anyone make a font out of these characters. If so, I would really like to play around with it. Another thing is that I noticed watching the show, the words should first be translated into Esperanto and then read from top to bottom but the letters from right to left.
Hi limeywestlake2, as a fan of Esperanto I absolutely *love* this typeface! Have you ever considered turning it into a font? (I've already tried my hands at it, but I haven't managed to create a decent bitmap, given the resolution of the pictures I could find, haha.)
